Virtual Psychotherapy

Virtual therapy provides the same thoughtful, trauma-informed care from the comfort of your own space. Sessions are offered through a secure video platform and can be just as meaningful and effective as in-person work.

This option may be a good fit if you value flexibility, live outside the area, have a busy or unpredictable schedule, or feel more at ease starting therapy from home.

Hi!

Thank you for being here.

I help individuals and couples overcome their mental health concerns, trauma, relationship, and life transitions. I have over 12 years of experience as a mental health nurse helping individuals with severe mental illness in the community and hospital settings.

My passion for mental health wellness is influenced by my commitment to providing therapy grounded in anti-oppressive and social determinants of health framework. As a first-generation Filipino immigrant to Canada and woman in an intercultural relationship, I deeply value cultural integration in my practice.

I believe in each person’s innate ability for healing and growth and I strive to foster that in the therapy space. My priority is to create a collaborative, safe, open, warm, and non-judgemental space for my clients to explore their experiences and perspectives.

My approach is using primarily EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment, Gottman method, and Trauma-Informed orientations. I see healthcare providers, first responders, and adults who were exposed to trauma and are used to carrying it all on their own.

Whether in the individual therapy or couple’s therapy space, I want you to know that I value being flexible to meet you where you are and co-explore an effective approach(es) you feel comfortable with.

I hold both licenses as a Registered Nurse and a Registered Psychotherapist.

I look forward to our work together! Talk to you soon!
